The rescue of Ori Magidish was carried out by special forces belonging of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet - equivalent to the FBI) who prepared for the mission for several days.

It is reasonable to assume that Israeli intelligence knows the location of many more hostages and is prepping more rescue missions.

The Saudi army has been on high alert in recent days following armed clashes with the Houthis in Yemen that resulted in the death of four Saudi soldiers last week.

These are the first casualties of the Saudi army in the conflict with the Houthis since a ceasefire was reached in April 2022, and only recently were the parties in advanced talks for an official agreement to end the war between them.

When Netanyahu was asked about the name of the female soldier who was released, he answered Ori Megidish.

However, when several activists reviewed the list of prisoners' names published by Haaretz newspaper, her name was not found, even though the final list of hostages was released yesterday.

The one wasn't on other public lists, allegedly.

The case is interesting, as long as the IDF doesn't release footage of the rescue.
