EMILIANO MARTINEZ TAGGED MOST HATED ARGENTINE



The french Press have slammed Argentina goal keeper Emiliano Martinez for his behaviour following their world cup triumph, calling him the most hated Argentine among other insults.

The Aston Villa keeper has won himself many fans in France following his actions during Argentina's winning penalty shoot-out over Les Bleus, as well as his taunts towards hat-trick hero Kylian Mbappe in the aftermath of the game.

Martinez's penalty shoot-out antics helped guide Argentina to their third World Cup crown as he saved a penalty from Kingsley Coman.

The Villa keeper played mind games with Aurelien Tchouameni as he threw the ball away from the French midfielder before the Real Madrid youngster struck his penalty wide. Martinez has since explained that he did it because french fans were booing him during Argentina's thrilling final win.
