Requirements for a Chevening Scholarship

A citizen of a Chevening-eligible country is permitted to apply.

After receiving the award, the candidate must stay in his or her home country for at least two years.

The applicants must have submitted an application for a 12-month full master's program.

The applicant must have either two years of work experience for one of the three university programs they applied for or 2800 hrs of working experience.

The applicant must have rounded off an undergraduate program leading to a 2'1 honors degree or upper second class in the UK.

Unless they are inhabitants of British overseas jurisdiction and are applying from Hong Kong, applicants who are of British citizenship are not allowed to apply.

Candidates who have refugee status in a nation other than Chevening are ineligible. Only those applicants for refugee status who are in

Chevening member nations are eligible.

Applicants who work for Her Majesty's Government, the association of Commonwealth Universities, or are related to current or past workers of Her Majesty's Government are not eligible to apply.

The applicant who works for has worked for, or has a relative who works for a Chevening Partner Organization may apply. Although, they are not eligible to receive a Chevening Partner Award from that organization.

A candidate who is currently receiving money from the Uk government is ineligible to apply.

The application process for the Chevening Scholarship

The applicant must use the online application system to submit their application (OSA). They advise applicants to use a laptop or PC and Google Chrome to submit their applications.

An unconditional offer letter for any one course is necessary for the Chevening fellowship in the United Kingdom, the applicant has to apply to three separate programs at the UK universities.

The only conditions for the size and type of the files are that they must be no larger than 5MB. They must be in JPG, PNG, and PDF format.

The file names cannot the longer than 50 characters.

Every application that an applicant submits must be in English.

To log back into OAS, the applicant needs to remember their login name and password.

Give accurate information in your application, notably your contact and email address.

Avoid using the back and forward buttons on your browser because doing so could cause you to leave the application system. Instead, make use of the application form's options.

There are four essay questions in the application. The essay cannot be shorter than 100 words, and the essay cannot be longer than 500 words.

You must manually save the application because there is no autosave button. Keep in mind that every 1hour, an online application session
