The Candidate for Delta Central on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ede Dafenone said the defection of the two- time Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Area, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Faith Majemite and High Chief Ogaga Oghoghorie from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress(APC) has further strengthened the party in Ethiope East, saying, this defection was long over due. Chief Ede Dafenone stated this when he paid immediate past Chairman visit for his Senatorial ambition in Kokori, Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state.


Chief Ede-Dafenone who was received by Hon. Chief (Mrs). Faith Majemite at Chief Ogaga Oghoghorie’s Compound, said:: When l heard that Chief (Mrs) Faith Majemite and his brother who was a Leader of the People Democratic Party (PDP), High Chief Ogaga Oghoghorie defected to APC l am very impressed, though we have been expecting them ever since, because PDP has gone, and with these two big fishes that defected to APC, there is no PDP in Ethiope East”
