Laundry Bar Soap (Cool Process)Economically.
Ingredients:
�PKO - 1 litre
�Caustic soda - 500ml
�Silicate - 30ml
�Foam booster(optional) 50ml
�Perfume to taste
�Colour (optional -oil soluble)

�Procedure
Dissolve 250g of caustic soda in 750ml of water for 48 hours. (Take reading with hydrometer to 1275)

After 48 hours, pour PKO into a mixing bowl

Measure out 500ml of caustic soda solution and pour into the PKO and mix well. (It will have a uniform creamy look).

Measure 30ml of sodium silicate and add. Stir well to combine

Add 50ml of foam booster and mix well
( At this point, the mixture may tend to separate but keep mixing and it will come together).

�Add perfume mix well and pour into the prepared mold.

Note:
The soap can harden between 8-24 hours, then you can cut.

�Allow the soap to air dry (cure)

�Perfume type and quantity depends on your choice.

You can use improvised soap mold by using any container available (plastic or tin) make sure you apply little quantity of oil all around the container for easy unfolding.

Dissolve colour in little quantity of oil and add.

�PKO means Palm kernel oil.
