this looks like crusted scabies or mite infestation , you can apply{ benzyl benzoate 25%} .
dilte the lotion with water and apply generously on his scalp.

This doesn't look like dandruff. At what age did it start to manifest? Have you seen a dermatologist in any of teaching hospitals yet?

You are professionally advised to approach any medical laboratory to conduct a test concerning the inflammations and you will be told the best medication that can cure it after diagonizing the disease. You will thank me later.

You may as well try Potassium Permanganate Tablets; put one or two tablet in one litre of water and use the solution to wash his thoroughly shaved head. Also, take note of his diets, may be he is allergic to some of these foods. It's well with you young man.

I think applying these many things only aggravated the whole thing.

My advise is to stop them all.
Always barb all the hair on his head as it will help in healing and prevent habitat for the disease.

Change his clothing, mattress, bedding, pillow, pillow case, towel etc.

Check your water source, change it or treat it if possible. Always boil his bath water. Add detol to his bath water.

Let him take his bath twice daily. Do this for a while till the sores heal.

Let him take prescription drugs from the doctor or dermatologist, but ensure that it is something mild.

It has to be one of two things; viral or bacterial. The saddest part here is that whatever is wrong with him is IN THE BLOOD and not what you see on his scalp. That is a reaction/symptoms of what is on the inside. Topical solutions won’t help since they are not addressing the root cause. I’d recommend you see a dermatologist. They should be able to draw samples and arrive at a conclusion with what a lab returns as result and then know how to tackle it from there.

For now, DO NOT apply any fungal, bacterial or topical treatment of any kind. It could worsen or aggravate things further.
