— On January 11, 2023 it was reported by Pro-Russian, Pro-Wagner PMC and the CEO of Wanger PMC channels that during the recent phase of the battles for Soledar, two British citizens who volunteered to the Ukrainian International Legion were Killed in Action (KIA) as the mercenaries from Wagner PMC advanced into the fortified city. According to the channels, the body of one of British was found, where documents were found on him for both volunteers who fought on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in particular, through registration by volunteers.
