I'm not really familiar with ikeja like that. But you can always find mallams at yaba. Once you get to the railway don't even ask for them, they're the ones who would be running after you.

Another place you'll see them is Akerele (Surulere). After the post office.

Also you'll get them on the island...around Wilberforce house on broad Street.

One advice I'll give to you when you eventually see a mallam to change the dollar is that you should reject cash and tell him to make a transfer directly to her bank account.

Most mallams are fraudulent, they'd either mix condemned #500 or #1000 notes in between the bulk money or give you fake notes that might be up to 5k or more.

So the safest thing to do is to hold your dollar, till they make the transfer and you confirm the alert, before giving it to them.
