Hi everyone I work with a real estate as a marketer over here in Lagos and because of how I was good at what I do when they sacked their manager they made me their manager without any interview or anything.

Initially, my salary was 30K as a marketer which didn't really mean much to me cause I make money from other sources as a tech guy but now I was manager and they added 15k to the 30k which still didn't mean anything to me cause of my other sources but I recently sat down to calculate how much I spend on transport alone, I found out that I spend 50K on transport per month and I eat at least 2k to 5k daily aside data.

Currently: I maintain their website, social media, and everything marketing both digital and non-digital, how do you think I should approach them for an increase and how much is a real estate manager paid, the organization is big.

Before you quit or ask for a pay rise...

Ensure 5hat you've introduced certain development to your working scheme and added spice to the work that it will bring more money...

E.g... On the social media platform, if you're a graphic designer, create attractive designs for the handlers and make comical and sarcastic post to attract SEOptimisation and so on...

Also ensure that you make your work very easy for them and they rely on you for everything..

Infact, take many responsibilities away from them and handle it...

When you ask for a pay rise, they will likely want to keep you by increasing your pay to 100%.

PS...If you're not adding value to the work, they will likely drop you.

Thank so much, yeap I do all that. One of the thing even making me sceptic is my relationship with the boss, people always ask if I am his brother cause of how hardworking I am over there, In short they depend on me for everything.

I apprieicate the advice
