What exactly is the difference between 21.47% and 21.34%? Virtually none and Nigerians are suffering unnecessarily.

If it was an inflation rate of 2.1% and it reducing to 1.95%, it would be a cause for celebration in the rich developed countries where their central banks have an inflation target of nothing more than 2%.

I am sure with the right economic medicine, the inflation rate can drop to 9% by 2025. However, that is still too high. The target should be 4% or less.

The slight drop in inflation is due to the change in naira notes. If politicians were to allow the change to go on as planned, inflation will drop considerably and naira will appreciate against foreign currencies.
