Please I need a second opinion on below VIN Report as a nairalander has interpreted it to mean the vehicle is accidented but seller vehemently disagrees and has asked me to seek  interpretation of other people. He says the only thing he knows is that car was bought with only 3 tyres, 4th leg didnt have tyre and he bought just one tyre. Car also didnt have battery and he bought battery according to him. I need other opinion on the VIN report. The funny thing about the car is that VIN report says car is a 2002 camry while information on door panel and seat belt shows the car is a 2004. I was doubting the seller until I went to see it myself yesterday evening. The information on door panel and seat belt shows February 2004 - I saw with my eyes. Is such contradiction possible? Could VIN report be wrong? Odometer on dash board shows 39,000 miles while VIN says 5. What is responsible for such contradiction? Experts in the house your knowledge is needed here - Inspired_m, Viperman, Siena, etc all the gurus, I need your help. Thanks.

the 10th digit of the vin number is the only surefire way of knowing the car model/year, seat belts are routinely changed by fradulent car salesmen

This camry is certainly a 2002 model.
It has the same frame with 03-06 models
Difference is the 05/06 model has slight modifications on the headlamp, taillight and interior.
Basically the 02 and 04 models share same features.
