The progressive train of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would land in Ilorin, the Kwara State in continuation of the presidential campaign for the 2023 General Elections. Former education minister Oby Ezekwesili on Tuesday criticized People's Democratic Partypresidential candidate Atiku Abubakar for claiming to be the head of the economicmanagement team when he was vice president. Atiku tweeted on Monday, “As head of the economic management team while I was Vice President, I was instrumental in designing a private sector revival strategy and advocated for the opening of the economy for private sector investments in several sectors. And we made tremendous progress.” Responding to the tweet, Ezekwesili accused Atiku of telling an “absurd lie”, adding that the former vice president was never the Head of the Economic Management Team. She tweeted, “Dear former Vice President Atiku, please ask the handlers of your Twitter account to stop misleading the public. You were never the Head of the Economic Management Team. This absurd lie does you no good at all. Please ask your team to stop it. Happy New Year. Affliction will not rise again. We must vote competent people into power. We no longer want killers, drug lord and criminals into political affairs of Nigeria. We say no to bad governments, bad policymakers, rubber stamp senators, looters, sick people, unverified people. We want a better Nigeria for our generation. Nigeria is a nice country with diverse cultures. Imaging travelling to north for tourism or southwest you will enjoy the cultures and ways of peoples life styles. But these greedy criminals in power has stolen everything made for common man on the street. Still impose unnecessary tax on the poor citizens.
