The request by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to make use of the MKO Abiola International Stadium for the rally of its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has been turned down by the Ogun State Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The party had made the request in a letter to the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports on January 3, 2023, ahead of the rally slated for January 19.

In the letter signed by the State Secretary, Sunday Solarin, the PDP recalled how an earlier request for the use of the stadium was not obliged by the state government.

When they can't meet the financial requirement to use the stadium or they have little or no support in the area they will surreptitiously claim they were denied the facility. Atiku should go and learn from Peter Obi how to use canopies to get visual effects needed to make small crowd look big.
