The FUTURE CITY is a project by Landwey Investment limited, Africa’s leading Real Estate company.

The vision of this project is articulated on two scales, Green and Technology.

All parks and infrastructure in the Future city are intended to allow water to seep through the earth and replenish the water table. These "sponge city" methods are already being tested in Shanghai.

Green roofs: Solar panels and roof gardens would be above buildings, promoting sustainable energy .

Rainwater purification: Instead of gutters, bioswales (absorbent rain gardens) and pools would collect and filter water for reuse.

Social transit: Regional high-speed rail stations would develop into hubs of commercial and social activity.

Smart buildings: The Buildings will incorporate natural elements and will be largely modular, leading to faster production with less waste. Spaces can quickly transform to meet changing housing, industrial or business needs.

Solar walls and windows: There will be Solar panels incorporated into all surfaces of the building’s facade during construction to harvest solar energy.

Green streets: The streetscape would include native vegetation, environmental monitoring, and water filtration.

Recycling and reuse: Used items—those that aren’t already biodegradable, would be easily reused or recycled.

Clean energy: Smaller, more affordable, and bladeless wind turbines would be mounted on building rooftops to supplement existing power sources.


Drone commuting : Remotely programmed
drones large and powerful enough to transport people within the city.

Underground farming: Farm Produce will be grown in soil-free hydroponic farms using high-­efficiency methods underneath.
