Hi, fellow Nairalanders Im writing this piece out of utter shame and disappointment as I have driven my family Into ridicule and disdain since I've been laid out of my job as a teacher 3 months ago. Since then I have taken a doing any menial job that I could be lucky to have just to put food on my table. I have been working tirelessly for the past 3 weeks working at a bakery that doesn't observe any work fee day. My family relied on the benevolence of the neighbours on account of the yuletide season, that was how I and my family barely survive December period. 3 days ago I came down Malaria and it has been hell for me and the family as we don't have foodstuff at home, I have been using the pills I got from the Neighborhood pharmacy on credit on empty stomach. My suffering seem to have no end, I'm begging all to pls help this humble stranger to lift a little of his burden, any amount to pay off my medication fee and get some food for the family and myself will go a long way. Im begging you all in the name of God. May affliction that you will never be able to bear come close to you and your entire family. Here is my account details. Sorry my message is coming late, my free daily opera data was exhausted, I'm just back online now. Would my Drivers license suffice as a proper identification? I'm grateful for your consideration Sir.

When they give you money for food, what happens tomorrow and next? If you want to beg, go to the streets and carry a bowl, then you'll ensure continuous supply of money.
If you're really serious, look for other manial jobs. Wash cars, wash peoples clothes etc. Anything is more dignified than begging.

You could have asked for a job than begging for money

I wouldn't be begging if I have any other choice, I've been nursing malaria for 4 days now, using drugs I got on credit without proper meal. This is my reality presently.

You shouldn't have begged at all. You should have asked for jobs, trust me some good Nigerians would have asked for your details pending the time you got job.

I'm sorry I did that, my present situation called for it. I wish you could see me to believe me. I don't have the luxury of dignity at the moment.
