Then, I ventured into an open and honest response to the media lynching of a personal friend, colleague and hardworking family man. Paradoxically, Ahmed Bola Tinubu became a David, an underdog in the Bird kingdom. The cyber hounds smelt blood and came for him.

From defending these obsessed and possessed hacks via my advocacy on Social Media, my innate mechanism switched course. And there, I was defending Ahmed Bola Tinubu flying the banner of an opposite party.

As a medical worker, I could not ignore the haranguing of a man based on a medical stereotype. As a former Governor, it was duty to bear testimony to the best of my class. As an Igbo I knew that the truth is life " Eziokwu bu ndu".

As a professional politician in my opinion, the tea leaves and characters there-on where self evident. As a political marathoner, it was clear, I and my people needed the wind draft of another marathoner. An attachment as it were to get back on Nigeria's journey of Nationhood.

It is clear Igbo State hood has become a mirage.
