An Ikeja-based player in the renewable energy sector, has vacancy for the positions of:

1. ACCOUNTING OFFICER

Primary responsibilities:
- Entering financial transactions into accounting software
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Preparing and processing invoices and payments
- Preparing month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Handling Tax and Statutory Authority Payments
- Handling confidential financial information with discretion and integrity

Key Skills / Requirements:
- ATS/ NCE/OND in Accounting or related discipline with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills


2. SECRETARY

Primary responsibilities:
- Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
- Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments
- Typing, preparing and collating reports, and filing
- Organising and servicing meetings (producing agenda, taking minutes)
- Managing databases
- Liaising with relevant organisations and clients
- Logging or processing bills or expenses
- Acting as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients

Key Skills / Requirements:
- OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO with 1-2 years work experience
- Good communication, tact, discretion and diplomacy, team-working, customer service and relationship-building skills
- Organisation and time management skills, assertiveness, flexibility and ability to use initiative proactively
- Ability to use standard software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office)
