Why do black people support Arabs? Everybody knows that Arabs hate Africans. European slavery ended centuries ago, but Arab slavery continues today. Why are the Arabs let off the hook?

I know, the new European slavery is an economic slavery, but the Arabs have never been collectively called out by black people the way Europeans have. Black people think Arabs are their friends. I think we have an 'my enemy's enemy, is my friend' kind of thought when we think about Arabs.
