spencekat: According to Abia PDP arrangement power rotates among the 3 senatorial zones which is Abia north,Abia central and Abia south.Nothing like Umunneato. It is the turn of Abia north going by that agreement. 2 Likes |

Re: The Battle To Replace Prof Ikonne Thickens by Ojiofor: 11:10pm On Jan 27, 2023 |
spencekat: If he likes let him respect the agreement which the unfortunate death of Ikonne have given him the opportunity to correct the mistake. However, whoever that will emerge as PDP candidate is going to lose the election and Ikpeazu would have destroyed that arrangement for good.Ngwa people will have him to blame in the future because it will henceforth be all zone to themselves and no more rotation. 1 Like |

They should simply give it to Alao Akala . A dead Yoruba man is far better than their most vibrant "man" wo-MEN that a fat fella control from Finland with his email account. 1 Like 1 Share |

Ojiofor: Abia Charter of Equity was between the Afoikpo zone, Old Aba and Old Bende zones. Afikpo took the first when Dr Ogbonnaya Onu was elected the first executive governor of the State in the Third Republic. However, before the fourth Republic, the Afikpo Senatorial zone is gone by the creation of Ebonyi State leaving only two zones in the Abia Charter of Equity. When Orji Uzor Kanu of Old Bende zone with 8 LGAs completed his 8 years, two terms of administration, he was supposed to handover to old Aba zone with 9 LGAs but reneged and handed over to another candidate from same Old Bende, T. A. Orji, making it a 16 years administration of Old Bende with their 8 LGAs while Old Aba has 9 LGAs. It will be unwise for a zone with 8 LGAs to do 16 years while a zone with 9 LGAs will do 8 years. This is not Equity, it's fraud. Moreover, Umunneato is Abia Central Zone from where Ikonne emerged and not the same Zone as Dr Ikpeazu's Abia South. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ojiofor: Stop trying to make believe that there is a difference between Umuahia and Abia North, which are just one old British District will fewer (8.) LGAs. Ngwa is not an LGA, and neither is it all in one Senatorial District, stop trying to support a district with fewer LGAs and laud it over the majority. Since Orji Uzor Kalu handed over to the same old Bende, from a different Senatorial zone, so Ikpeazu will hand over to a person from the same Aba District but a different Senatorial zone for justice and equity. 5 Likes 1 Share |

MadamExcellency: You are still living in 1900. old Bende and Aba division exists only in your crooked political imaginations. What Nigeria constitution recognise today is senatorial zones on which Abia principle of equity was built. 5 Likes |

Ojiofor: Then Ngwans from Abia Central doesn't deserve to be governor right? I want okezie to give it to Anyone from old Bende be it Abia central or Abia north so that ndi-ngwa will look towards one direction. You all that has been shouting Labour party forgot that Alex otti is Ngwa. When Abia north finished their tenure under Orji uzor kalu what stopped Orji uzor kalu from handing over to Ngwa Man, he out of hatred handed over to T a orji from the same old Bende, now okezie want to hand over to an Ngwa Man from another zone and you all are crying. Prof ikonne died because of the sturbonness of the son who doesn't believe in spiritual battles until it became late. All this foreign trained medical doctors forgot that Africa voodoo magic if left unchecked causes damage. 1 Like 1 Share |

DaniDani: Look nothing concerns us in Abia north how Abia central share power when it comes to their zone after all they have been sharing senate seat between Umunneato and Umuahia clan amicably since 1999 without problem and I know once it is the turn of Abia central to produce governor again it will be zone to Ngwa part because ndi Umuahia have had their turn through Ochendo. Stop talking about old Bende and Aba division it does not exist anymore. |

Abians God has giving you guys second chance to rewrite the wrong. Don't vote for PDP again. From Orji Uzor Kalu, to T.A Orji down to Ikpeazu, they are the worst governor in Nigeria since 1999. I was in Abia state recently and I had the opportunity to tour the capital Umuahia for 3 days there is no meaningful development. The people are riched, poverty everywhere. I went from Bender road, to Azikiwe Rd, to BCA road, to secretariat, down to ubakala before going to FMC Aba road nothing to show forth. Abians vote for either Apga or Labour Party for your own good. |
