A young man in his mid 20 said to be son of late Prof Ike Nwosu;s sister identified as Chidi yesterday allegedly killed his Aunt Mrs. Margaret Nwanna, at Umueze village Amawbia near Awka.
Eye witnesses believed that he killed her aunt after reading the book of Moses.

Daily Champion leant the police in Anambra State have arrested the young man who allegedly cut off her aunt’s head and buried it differently from her body near an uncompleted building.

The police said Chidi had confessed to the crime. He is being held with her parents, sisters and brothers. He was said to be reading mystical books.

Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Emeka Chukwuemeka said although the boy confessed to the crime, the police would still carry out further investigations to establish the motive of the crime.

Chukwuemeka said, "This is heinous. This is a heinous crime as far as we are concerned. The suspect has been arrested. We are working on the lead that he could not have committed the crime alone. We will eventually arrest those that must have carried out the act with him," .

Family members said until the disappearance of Magi as she was called , there was no love lost between the families and that the suspect’s mother had been married to the brother of the deceased one child for the deceased’s brother left him and went outside to have the suspect , his sister and brother.

Stories had it that she returned to her husband’s house later on but never made up with her sister in-law (the deceased).
