Television presenter Georgie Thompson was yesterday banned from driving for 19 months after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
The 33-year-old Sky Sports News anchor was stopped outside her west London home in the early hours after she pranged her Porsche while attempting to park.
She was arrested when a police officer noticed she had "glazed eyes" and was "slurring her speech", and she was later found to be over twice the legal limit for driving.
Thompson pleaded guilty to the charge of drink-driving at West London Magistrates Court, where she was also ordered to pay a £1,000 fine and a further £100 in costs.
