Ado Hadi, a 21-year-old Nigerian footballer playing for CD Madridejos in Spain’s Terceira division, tragically passed away.

He passed away during a match against SP Cabanillas on Sunday. Hadi reportedly collapsed without any reason behind it in the 39th minute of the game. And despite efforts from the medical team, he could not be revived. Sadly, he has pronounced dead shortly after.

The Castilla-La Mancha Football Federation expressed its condolences. And they offered their support to CD Madridejos during this difficult time.

Hadi previously played in Nigeria with Jigawa Golden Stars. And he was one of four Nigerian players on the Madridejos team.
