Lawyers in the house, isn't this an abuse of the judicial process?

I have seen this play out many times, especially with ex parte orders. Can a court stop, say the president from performing his constitutional duties, or the IG of police, or the COAS or Inec Chairman? Does this not qualify as abuse of the judiciary?

The constitution vested in a certain position some powers which the wielder of the said position assumes and uses as he deems as long as it does not go against the constitution, and ways are given on how to checkmate these powers and excesses that may arise. So, why do people resort to using the judiciary to stop constitutionally given powers? And why does the judiciary allows it?
