Stupid reasoning. The law made it so. Because it stated that a sitting vice president would complete the tenure of the president if he (the president) is incapacitated or dies while in office. How is it the fault of the south that the north fielded a sickly president?

Dogara wants us to begin the history of political leadership of Nigeria from 1999, instead of from 1960.

More than 70% of the time, Northern rulers ruled Nigeria through civil and military govt between 1960-1999.

1979 when General Olusegun Obasanjo handed over the government to Alhaji Shehu Shagari, he spent over 4years, he didn't add it to the number of years the north used in ruling the country in democratic dispensation. He only calculated Yar'dua and Buhari. Shagari was a Southerner abi?
