Yet some eternally confused people will be working hard to convince you that Buhari is the cleanest man alive. It's unbelievable how Nigerias mercenary press, will easily sell a dog poop as candy to a desperate population beholden to all sorts of debilitating tribal and religious pulls. The only reason many people in this country still ascribe any notion of cleanliness to Buhari, is because the newspapers and TV stations have been running a perennial propaganda to portray him as "Mr Clean"! Otherwise, the man is as dirty as the rest of the come. Not even sure he is interested in hiding that again.

Buhari is the current Minister of Petroleum! He has been since he took office in 2015! Btw, that unconstitutional. A president is not allowed to hold such offices too. He appointed all the NNPC chairmen who have been looting the country so much so that The NNPC barely transmits anything again to the federation accounts as we speak. The current Minister of Finance is most probably the worst in history,.. she is a Buhari favorite! The head of the Federal Inland Revenue service is another Buhari appointee. Ditto customs and now Aishas brother as the chairman of The Security Minting and Printing company!

Essentially, all money making avenues in the country are either controlled directly by the president or by his immediate subordinates. These are the same areas through which billions are stolen everyday. Yet the want you to believe that the president is the new Jesus Christ and that it's his corrupt disciples that are doing the looting... Reminds me of the Igbo proverb that talks of an old man who will always boast that he hates to eat meat, but will always be the one that will volunteer to share meat for the children with his teeth!
