With the release of the internationally popular hit song “Dorobucci” in 2014, Korede Bello earned a record deal with Mavin Records after his semi-gospel/pop song “Godwin” topped numerous music charts around Nigeria.


In a recent interview with The New Telegraph, the singer discusses his decision to forgo a career in music in order to pursue a degree in mass communication as well as how he has managed the mental health challenges that come with working in the entertainment industry.



Although I don’t particularly enjoy traditional education, I do enjoy learning about how the world and the human mind function. Therefore, earning a degree in mass communication seemed appropriate for my line of work,” he remarked.
