If there's fund, why will a Zenith Bank shut down all his Branches
I speak as an Authority on this matter. This is a sensational news to create a false impression of the real issue on ground.
If those funds were there for the wrong purpose as presented, ICPC will not even meet a Kobo of those cash there

CBN is actually the primary problem while the commercial banks are problems we deal with because we interact with them the most.

There have been seamless transition of notes from old to new more than 4 times in this country and even up till the Goodluck Jonathan's major note transition..and there have never been such chaos such as this

Worse of it all is that they did not only fail at cash transition, they decided to invoke panic when it's less than a month to an important election.

The pope has a finger in the pie and we can see Emiefele's full regalia

the difference between the latter and the former is this change happened close to the most critical election that will determine Nigeria's future in some years to come.

Zenith is NOT opening tomorrow... Am at ATM to withdraw my last Kobo. Might be midnight when it gets to my turn.

UPDATE: When it got close to my turn, the cash finished (ATM stopped dispensing cash, it was a Union Bank and I joined it because the line was shorter).... I was going home when I noticed some people came with blanket and where sleeping near the ATM... So I vowed to withdraw and went to Zenith Bank ATM... If you are using Zenith card, you can pull 20k at once but other bank could only pull 2000 at a time (in which Zenith Bank with collect 35 naira per each 2k withdrawn... they make you agree that last last they would charge 60 naira for VAT and everything)... around 1am Zenith Bank realised it wasn't profitable giving their customer the privilege to withdraw 20k at once, so Zenith card was not working in Zenith own ATM but other cards were able to withdraw. They got paid 2k at a time while Zenith makes 35 naira on each withdrawal. I got home by 3am. (more than 5 hours).

CBN give directives to banks for loading new naira notes to customers via ATM but banks shun this directives and allow greed and quest of making profit cloud their thinking, boom they started hoarding the money and selling it to Politicians and Aboki Bureau de change to be marketing Naira just same way they make Nigerians scamper for dollars last year, the truth is we Nigerians are the problem of ourselves if these sets of people managed to find their way into power they will be worse than Buhari, nobody should tell me any nonsense about CBN being the problem imagine if the 258 million notes circulate in Abuja we won’t be seeing people scampering for money at the ATM

Corruption everywhere. And some of the these people are elders in their churches. Pastors should please focus more on moral building messages. Why would everyone be corrupt at the same time. So, we don't have any bank manager who is righteous. I don't get it.
