Buhari would have been found out in 2015 if he attended debates or gave lengthy speeches, so his party made sure he did not attend debates or give lengthy speeches. None of Buhari speeches, that I know of, in the campaign rallies in 2015 lasted up to 1 minute.

This is almost unheard of in any democracy, modern or otherwise, that a candidate would shun every local press interview and popular debate leading up to a presidential election.

If such a candidate is so evasive/elusive now, when seeking for mass approval, endorsement and support, then how much more evasive/elusive would such a candidate become, when no more in need of your approval, endorsement and support?
