Hello Nairalnders and auto experts! I just started farming and i need a haulage van to haul the produce to neighboring cities. I am thinking about getting 2005/2006 Ford E350 or Mercedez Sprinter. I have been advised to go for E350 because of space and ruggedness but i have my mind on the Sprinter but it is a bit more expensive. In terms of durability and maintenance, which would you advise me to go for? Please help with advice based on experiences,thank you. |

sultaan: Is it the Ford transit or the E350? I am looking for a vehicle that can run long distance smoothly with AC without hassles. That is why i was looking at the E350 or Sprinter,the Ford transits i see on the road look smoky and really dead. |

CHINEDUMAPERANT: Sprinter & E350 are stronger no doubt , but then , expensive to maintain & specialist are scarse , unlike the other which an apprentice can quickly help fix . I used the boxer for haulage one time , it served it's purpose well before I sold it .. |

Why not E-150? More durable with high suspension, real axle with spring suspension.. for rough terrains and heavy torque… older version with less electronics for Naija rd side mechanic ..But na V8 |

E150 is a 1.5 T payload and E350 is 3.5 T which means he will be able to carry and tow a lot. It has the big engine and uses more fuel 1 Like |
