On Sunday, Pastor Uche Aigbe, the presiding pastor of the Abuja branch of the House on the Rock, made a scene by mounting the podium while brandishing an AK 47 gun.

The event happened during the second service, which often draws a sizable congregation from throughout the Federal Capital Territory.

The pastor approached the altar while brandishing the weapon as many people in the congregation exchanged looks to attempt to figure out what was going on.

Aigbe did not flinch as he approached the podium; he was conscious of the tension his behavior had produced.
