Pls, how can i get to know the serial number of my laptop apart from checking the back. i urgently need it. thank you

Check your service tag or press f2 during start up if its dell

You can also check your battery(that's if it has not been replaced before)

Okay thanks for that. I use HP laptop and it is nt on the battery. Pls what else can i do?

1.Select save file to disk and save this to your desktop.

2.Run the programme from the laptop you want to find out the serial number from, and this will tell you the Manufacturer of the laptop.

3.Click okay and this will tell you the unit Serial Number of this laptop.

If I may ask, what do you need the serial number for?
