Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has criticized the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, saying that he is unfit to hold his current position and that he is attempting to run for president. The governor also claimed that Emefiele’s policies would frustrate the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s chances of winning the presidential election scheduled for February 25, 2023. Akeredolu filed a lawsuit at the Supreme Court last week challenging the CBN’s decision to stop accepting N200, N500, and N1,000 banknotes as legal tender by February 10, 2023. He claimed that the new policy had caused untold hardship for people. The governor also claimed that Emefiele’s policies would frustrate the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s chances of winning the presidential election scheduled for February 25, 2023. Akeredolu has indirected accepted that Bola has pilled up billions of Naira at home for vote buying, hence the outcry... I see ... God forbids... Tinubu is very corrupt and unfit to be President!!
