Humphrey Nsofor has eulogised the newly promoted and decorated deputy inspector general of the Nigeria Police incharge of training and development, DIG Hafiz Inuwa mni.



The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, on Monday 20th February, 2023, decorated three newly promoted Deputy Inspectors-General of Police in his office at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja. The DIGs include DIG Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, mni, in charge of the Department of Training and Development, and DIG Adeleke Yinka Bode, mni, in charge of the Department of Operations and
DIG Ali Aji Janga, psc, mni of the Department of Research and Planning.



Speaking to newsmen after paying the newly promoted and decorated Senior Officer a congratulatory visit at force Headquarters Abuja, Hon. Engr. Humphrey Chukwuemeka Nsofor described DIG Inuwa as an outstanding patriot, a distinguished officer with impeccable character whose dedication to the service of fatherland and subsequent promotion and decoration is an attestation that of his deligence and commitment to duty.



Hon. Nsofor expressed confidence that the new DIG will harness his age long experiences with dexterity in the the fight against criminality thereby ensuring that a secured and peaceful Nigeria where the citizens can go to their various businesses without fear is achieved.



On his part, Mr. Omeke stated that the promotion and decoration of DIG Inuwa is well deserved when Justaposed with his giants strides across the nation, zones and offices where he had previously held sway in the force while exercising patience, deligence, determination and unwavering commitment to the selfless service of policing.



He revealed that the vast expertise of the distinguished senior officer is needed especially at this auspicious time when Nigeria is transitioning from one political dispensation to another.



Mr. Peter Omeke prayed God to grant DIG Inuwa the wisdom to excel in his new office while urging him to maintain the highest level of professionalism which has earmarked him as an examplary officer and a role model to the younger generation.



DIG Hafiz Inuwa, who is the immediate past Assistant Inspector-General of Police Force Secretary, has previously served as the pioneer AIG in charge of Zone-13 Ukpo — Dunukofia in Awka, Anambra State, covering Anambra and Enugu State Police Commands, Commissioner of Police in charge of Delta and Cross River States, amongst other strategic positions. He is a member of the prestigious National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPPS), Kuru, Jos.
