MTN Increases Data Transfer Limit From 1GB To 2GB, Adds More Menu Options by WackyJ1(m): 3:19am On Feb 21, 2023
I noticed that two days ago, MTN Increased the Data transfer Limit from 1GB Max a day to 2GB.

They also added more menu options yesterday, so you can now transfer the maximum limit of 2GB at a go rather than 4 times of 500 MB.

If MTN decide to make 5GB ₦1000 today, you will see Airtel and Glo also increasing their data package the next daty

What fear? Some of you just talk rubbish, Starlink definitely can't compete with MTN, Airtel or Glo.

Also Starlink is not mobile, which means even if you have it, you'll still have to use a local network for data when not at home or in the office.

Less than 1% of Nigerians are using starlink why da Bleep would MTN be afraid?

While I agree that a lot of people can’t afford starlink but you see that 1% you mentioned, they are the heavy subscribers.

I’m talking about people spending as much as 500k monthly on data, you need to understand that it’s not the 1,500 subscribers that net telecoms money.

Companies spend up to 10s of millions a year on internet services and they are losing them to starlink.

And let's say you want to transfer again to the same number the next day,it'll tell you the number is not eligible

You're the fool here. Spectranet, Tizetti wifi and the rest don't make half of what Local networks makes yearly, what makes you think Starlink will? Get sense, there is enough meat for all of them in the pot grin

Mobile Network providers will still make the big bucks. They are a necessity, you can't do without them.

not starlink but maybe starlink but one time this data transfer had a bug & people exploited it sending huge & unlimited data to different sim until mtn Instituted the limit to curtail lost. They probably have fixed it, but i dey pity starlink cos if naija devs find bug for free browsing on that thing, Elon will run out of Nigeria as fast as he came in.
