Secret Admirers Of Violence by Schoolguy9(m): 9:35am On Feb 22, 2023 |
Standing up was not easy So he sat down He was violence personified But had secret admirers! The few who identified with him Were publicly assaulted and thrown in and out of prisons at times. In their numbers they came With clubs and eyes closed with masks They ransacked the villages As if in search of the Messiah They sholved Peter aside The arguments could not hold water The women could not identify their babies And the elders had no time for palm wine But the kids had open fields Like a surgeon They dissected the bossom of the universe In their anger they burnt their own fingers The children cried The women ran to hide But the government kept pointing accusing fingers! Innocence was varnished Wisdom was caged and peace found no throne Consumed with passion He went to conquer more territories The war that ensued saw to the destruction of success equity and positive transformations but the eyes of violence was not pacified because he had so many secret admirers! He had no heart else it could be reached He had no legs so he ran on the heads of many In their idle time they invoked him And in their dreams they admired him Outwardly they were religious pius and considerate but matters of importance in their bed chambers said no to peace! Camouflage was their number one ally Confusion their sister and backwardness their closest neighbour but they were never perturbed because they had formed a club with violence as their symbol When peace breathed its last They rejoiced Behold the voice that came to save has been trampled upon The legs that came to deliver had been tied down And the hands that were rendered for help went missing The women wept and the children looked like slaves Yet some men were not spared! In their secret abodes they wished for success In their dreams they see Jesus Christ approaching but in reality they were suffering They turned to one another with open arms but no help came When violence had his fill of prosperity in the negative direction he dismissed the matter as a joke The truth later came out but violence was nowhere to be found All those who served him were punished and the minorities rejoiced In all no one knows what will happen next because peace came back to life with a smile but was very weak The little men of goodwill who remained in the town fanned the flame of passion and sounded the gong of hope while the women beat the drum of success Ahead! Ahead!! They shouted until violence could not have a place in their midst The reign of terror had ended And the people gathered to dream again It was not easy but it was better than being idle In his next life Mr. Violence never came to that location Woe to those it meets. |
