Sometimes this month, I wrote a publication to the Newspapers, in that publication I told Nigerians: "in our hands once again is that significant power of a tenure: we must either choose between bottles of champagne for few or safe drinking water for all"

Fellow country men and women, the hour has come and before us is the periodic power to choose between bottles of champagne for a few persons or safe drinking water for all. It is also before us in our hands: the power over life and over death. We must choose one and bear the loss or benefits for the next four years. As you go out to cast your votes, remember the avoidable pains and hardship you passed through because of failed leadership. Remember also, most importantly, the future, the future of your children. You are deciding who spearhead the organized destruction or protection of their future this day. Remember also, most unforgettingly, to add 8 years to your current age and then decide if you can afford to waste another 8 years of your life because of bad government.
