More on the indigenous people of Canada. Canada is an occupied territory. The westerners invaded, subjugated the indigenous people, exposed them to genocide and continue to exploit thier natural resources. The Westerners are trying to do the same thing to Russia. The head of state of Canada is the British monarch. A sizable number of people are conditioned and configured to believe that the Westerners' illegal occupation of Canada and the US is ok. It's not. The US is an appendage of British Colonialism, the illegal Western immigrants rebelled against the British crown (that's why it has a president as the head of state). The indigenous people of North America should kick the invaders(westerners) out. Russia should arm these people. Israel illegally occupies Palestinian territory, where is the global outcry? The imperialists in the US illegally occupies Syria and steals it's resources..where's the global condemnation? It's either I'm Pro Russian (wrt the rus-ukr conflict) or neutral because I cannot in good faith support countries that actively engage in the same behaviour they falsely accuse Russia of indulging in. In addition, I'm an African, the hostility between the West and the East is beneficial to me...it serves as an expedited catalyst for a multipolar world. Most African countries gained their independence from the West after the USSR became a nuclear armed Country. The USSR never colonized Africa and they fought against western colonizers in Africa (the fight against apartheid which is a form of Nazism in South Africa is a reputable reference. The South Africans and the USSR (Moscow) emerged victorious).

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it is striking in the Gaza Strip.
"Initial report – The IDF is currently striking in Gaza. Details to follow," the IDF said on Twitter.
The Israeli military also said it had conducted a strike on a Hamas arms production facility in the Gaza Strip.

"IAF fighter jets struck both a weapons manufacturing site and military compound belonging to the Hamas Terrorist Organization, located in central and northern Gaza," the IDF wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, the IDF said five out of six rockets fired from Gaza toward Israel had been intercepted.

Relations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority have been adversarial since the founding of Israel in 1948. Palestinians seek diplomatic recognition of their independent state on the territories of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, which is partially occupied by Israel, and the Gaza Strip. The Israeli government refuses to recognize the Palestinian Authority as an independent political and diplomatic entity, and builds settlements in the occupied areas despite objections from the United Nations.

History repeats itself and Russia is again confronted with an empire of diverse enemies 80 years after the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, Russia’s Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said in an article, Year of Defending Fatherland, published in the National Defense magazine on Saturday.

"A year after the start of the special military operation, we celebrated yet another very important date in our history in February 2023: the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people’s victory in the Battle of Stalingrad - the chief battle of the 20th century, after which the final rout of the Hitlerite armies became inevitable," Medvedev said.

"History repeats itself. We are again confronted actually with a whole empire of diverse enemies: Ukrainian and European Neo-Nazis, the United States, other Anglo-Saxons and their minions (about half a hundred of countries)," he said.

The enemies have set the task of wiping Russia off from the face of the earth but their attempts will fail, the security official stressed.

"We are stronger and this is also obvious now. And the so-called ‘Western world’ is just a small part of the international community, about 15% of the planet’s population. A rich, over-satiated but still a minority," he added.

The past year of the special military operation in Ukraine has taught the Russians many things and consolidated the country’s citizens in the fight against the common enemy and "has finally helped get rid of the illusions about the ‘democratic’ West whose hypocrisy and frenzied Russophobia have gone beyond all thinkable limits," Medvedev pointed out.

What Russia has gained over that year is its firm confidence in its own strength and in its victory, he said.

Iran Reveals Newly Developed Long-Range Missile With Mach 13 Top Speed


Iran says it has developed a long-range hypersonic missile capable of reaching any of the US regional military bases in the area.
Iran has developed a missile capable of hitting targets at a distance of 1,025 miles (1,650 kilometers), the commander of the Aerospace Division of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Amir-Ali Hajizadeh has detailed.
Hajizadeh said that by using the missile, Iran is “now capable of targeting American aircraft carriers at a 2,000-kilometer (1242-miles) distance.” The Iranian officials further claimed the missile could have been developed with a longer range but Iran capped it “out of respect for the Europeans.”

This is not the first time Iran has said it developed a hypersonic missile. In November 2022, Iran revealed it created its first national hypersonic missile ballistic missile, although the US State Department casted doubt on those claims at the time.
Iran says its missile program is necessary as a deterrent, something Hajizadeh echoed during his announcement.

“If we fail to be strong, the enemy will bring the war inside Iran," he urged after referencing the United States. "We should be very careful in order to be able to meet the security needs of our dear nation and country."

The United States, he said, benefits from a destabilized Middle East and said it was the root cause of conflicts around the globe, specifically mentioning the situations in Ukraine and Taiwan.
Thanks to the missile program, according to Hajizadeh, Iran is now capable of striking US regional bases “whenever the need arises.”

The true capabilities of the missile won’t be known until a video of a live test is released, but Iran claims its new missile is capable of reaching Mach 12-13 (12 to 13 times the speed of sound) and can avoid missile defense systems thanks in part to a built-in engine that increases the missile’s maneuverability when it approaches its target.
By comparison, the newest American prototype hypersonic missile, the AGM-183A, has a claimed top speed of Mach 20 but has never reached even Mach 6 in testing. It has a range of roughly 994 miles (1600 kilometers
“I express confidently that the enemies will not be capable of developing a similar missile over many upcoming decades,” Hajizadeh said, who also added that the missile was now in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards’ arsenal.
