There are 2 reasons why Igbos are voting for Peter Obi massively:

1. Peter Obi is a competent candidate. If you replace Peter Obi with someone like Orji Uzor Kalu the support will become less.

2. There has never been a president from the south east so it makes sense for Igbos to be determined to make it happen.

Think son. Were there no Ibo on any ballot in 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 or 2019? How did they vote? This election was a national revolution, though with ethnic colouration. But as long as we still wished to be one country, it was meant to be this way. Technically, Ibos have proven to vote for competence, and their son ticked the box. Remove sentiment from your eyes, so it doesn't blind you.
