It’s a big shame that some of the top entertainers who weponize and milk our Nigerian poverty narrative all didn’t vote today.

They have all the lyrics in songs. They’be won Grammy awards with them.

We sing their praises. We celebrate them because we believe they represent us.

There’s one in LA, USA. There’s one in Ghana.

It’s deal day and no show from all of the ones we call GOATS. It’s a shame.

I pointed it during EndSARS. I said their support for the protest was not for the welfare of the masses. Especially the ones from Yoruba origin.

But I am not surprised. I don't fan them for political reasons. I fan them because of their entertaining contents.

The prevailing attitude in this country seems to prioritize self-interest above all else. It may be difficult to find individuals who genuinely care about you outside of your immediate family or close friends, as people tend to prioritize their own benefits over others. If something doesn't benefit them, they may be less likely to invest time or resources in it.
