Labour Party’s Peter Obi emerges Winner in Suleja LGA of Niger State. Peter Obi is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP). Reports have it he has won the presidential election in Suleja LGA of Niger state.

Suleja, a suburb of Abuja. And it is known for being one of the biggest markets in the area. The results of the presidential election from the 10 electoral wards showed that Obi scored 16,978 votes. And this is according to Dr Hussaini Musa, the official of the INEC.

Peter Obi wins one LG in Niger
He defeated Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Tinubu scored 15,917 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) came third with 11,968 votes.


The Suleja LGA, which has 10 wards, had 149,088 registered voters. And 50,358 were accredited for the election.
