Is production of beer now an illegal business in Nigeria? Do you know the value chain in beer production? Do you know the amount that the farmers who produce the corn, millet etc earn supplying to the breweries, they have to pay workers who take of their families, the farmers would patronize fertilizer sellers who in turn patronize the distributors and fertilizer plants. Let me go back, do you know how much the breweries pay for those bottles you see, billions of naira. What of the amount they pay for the sugar distributors who in turn patronize sugar producers like Dangote etc. The list is endless. That you dont like beer does not mean that it is useless to the economy, i like beer too, you can go and sleep.

Nwoye defeated Senator Stella Oduah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Mrs Ebele Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Ebele is the former first lady of Anambra State.
