It's now beginning to make sense why Obi couldn't have won the election. He should just stay back in Labour Party and build the party.
For being able to achieve all this within 6 months in a party without structure, he has done an outstanding job.

He's young and should try again in 4 years. I trust Tinubu and Shettima - a terrible combination anyways - to totally finish off the country from where Buhari stopped. This will make Obi more popular.

He's young shey? How old will he be in 4 years time.

E maa tanra yin je🤣🤣🤣

In AK the PDP State with the governor heading Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign, Labour party was to win, but for the manipulation of final results to avert shame for the leader of PDP Presidential campaign.

That's a great achievement for Labour.

Go and rest!

You win some, you lose some

PDP will never recover if they lose this election!

and will they be the new sheriff in the next 4 years? In politics, this is a very very long time away, anything could happen and will happen

When you guys says structure i don;t actually understand.
With all the structure tinubu claim to have and with all the thugs, rigging and intimidation he still lost in Lagos to PO.
The real structure is you and I reason when we come out emass to vote for an individual with Character, Capacity ans integrity it becomes very easy for that candidate to will even in the face of rigging. So the people are the structure. The other structure as we can see are structure of thugery, intimidation, vote buying and rigging

What you highlighted is basically what structure entails in the Nigerian political context. The same way Peter Obi created a structure via EndSARS piggyback and religion - to create a movement that increased his chances at the polls.

A lot of people who would traditionally vote for Tinubu decided to vote for Obi due to EndSARS and religion. Obi also tapped into traditional PDP votes.

If Tinubu can perform as president and also reduce religious violence - Obi won’t get as many votes as he did in this election, in the next election, due to the amnesia that Nigerians tend to have.

This election just proved that Tinubu is the greatest Nigerian politician in the 21st century. Young politicians need to study him because he’s always two steps ahead of everyone.

Bro tribe, religion and party loyalties are the only things Nigerians consider when it comes to elections. Even if Tinubu likes let him impose intense hardship on Nigerians, they don't mind

His only way forward is to find a merger with a northern heavyweight. Just as Buhari and Tinubu did.

If Buhari, with all the block votes from the north, lost thrice. Obi will lose even with all the block votes from the East and southsouth.

But that might be too difficult for him because of his tribe's perceived arrogance.

Obi's brothers the Igbos have started insulting Akwa Ibom People on this thread.
They spent the whole of yesterday insulting Yorubas.
Tomorrow is the turn of the Northerners.

Yet, an Igbo man wants to be President.
That's not how to play politics.

Which Nigerians decide? the election was rigged in 5 Yoruba states, Ekiti, Ogun, Oyo, ondo and Kwara.. Nonsense winning.

See this Ibo fool. But the one in Enugu where APC and PDP got zero wasn't rigged.
In SE that APC supporters were beaten at polling units, it wasn't rigged.

Do u think it is because of their love for Obi that made him got this figures?
Let Obi comes out in next election he won't get 1/10 of this. They voted based on sentiments not because of love

It's a start...!

As PDP or APC (depending on who loses) implodes, labor Party will gain strength and numbers across the nation!

While they may not win next election, they will be so strong a force that the ruling party will have no choice but to deliver massively in order to stay in power.

Thank you akwa ibomites.

You showed them you are NEVER Igbos even as they attempted to hood wink you that you guys are the same.

They were after your oil wells and you saw through their lies.

They are limited to just 5 states with electoral votes that cant move the needle. The "five percenters" as Buhari famously called them!.

Asiwaju Tinubu will reward your effort!

This is extremely caustic from u. I wonder the kind of souls some of u blacks possess o. Stop this very acrid divide-n-rule manipulation from u.

The Igbos, Ibibios, Ejagham, Aros, Anangs, Efiks have common ancestry. Their cultures are very similar. If u doubt, do a simple google search. They interacted with nsibidi hundreds of years ago before the advent of colonialism.

The Igbos also have oil wells. Besides oil is not everything. They have brains too and a working brain is the greatest resource which many of u here on NL, sorry to say, do not have.

If u like accuse me of being Igbo, na u sabi.
