pho: What you highlighted is basically what structure entails in the Nigerian political context. The same way Peter Obi created a structure via EndSARS piggyback and religion - to create a movement that increased his chances at the polls. A lot of people who would traditionally vote for Tinubu decided to vote for Obi due to EndSARS and religion. Obi also tapped into traditional PDP votes. If Tinubu can perform as president and also reduce religious violence - Obi won’t get as many votes as he did in this election, in the next election, due to the amnesia that Nigerians tend to have. This election just proved that Tinubu is the greatest Nigerian politician in the 21st century. Young politicians need to study him because he’s always two steps ahead of everyone. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Bro tribe, religion and party loyalties are the only things Nigerians consider when it comes to elections. Even if Tinubu likes let him impose intense hardship on Nigerians, they don't mind SmartPolician: |

sketcherJ: It's a start...! As PDP or APC (depending on who loses) implodes, labor Party will gain strength and numbers across the nation! While they may not win next election, they will be so strong a force that the ruling party will have no choice but to deliver massively in order to stay in power. |

MT: This is extremely caustic from u. I wonder the kind of souls some of u blacks possess o. Stop this very acrid divide-n-rule manipulation from u. The Igbos, Ibibios, Ejagham, Aros, Anangs, Efiks have common ancestry. Their cultures are very similar. If u doubt, do a simple google search. They interacted with nsibidi hundreds of years ago before the advent of colonialism. The Igbos also have oil wells. Besides oil is not everything. They have brains too and a working brain is the greatest resource which many of u here on NL, sorry to say, do not have. If u like accuse me of being Igbo, na u sabi. 1 Like |
