I work at several computer stores and have access to them all on a daily basis. I have not purchased these laptops but I instead work with them in order to bring you the highest quality consumer based reviews. I sometimes ask the opinions of my staff and also of customers.

So without further interruption here is my review on the HP 530

Screen:

The screen is pretty good, 15.4" Its rather clear and sharp.

Performance:

With an Inbuilt 1 GB RAM and quite fast considering its in built Intel Celeron Chip, This is a great value for the price point.

Design

Build quality is high and it has been very popular at recent months. Especially to those in university, banking and most other Nigeria and those that need a basic cheap laptop.

Conclusion:

If you want a first laptop or a simple one as your first computer this is it and would do everything required for university and most jobs.


Buyer's Review:

Good solid competitively priced laptop. Excellent screen, Intel graphics card is solid and runs all accelerated applications flawlessly; integrated wireless and simplistic button, combined with good keyboard and mouse layout make it a very intelligent machine. Mouse touch pad is beveled below the keyboard to avoid accidental touching while typing. Very thin and light, and surprisingly compact. CD burner and DVD drive work flawlessly and exceptionally quick. USB ports are on the correct side (left) for users with USB mice. For a 1.6 GHz this system runs absolutely spectacularly!

Men how can you do that to your boi. Ok return that lappy and get one from me!. I need to hit up on the rest of the gang so they dont do the same as you (i.e. buy elsewhere).

By the way I ship lots of other stuff not necessarily only laptops from small stuff like flash drives and celphones, to larger items like LCD TVs, motor bikes, autos etc.

Well what can I tell ya?. I dont know the exact config of your lappy, but if it comes with a celeron which I think it does then it is a lower config than the Toshibas I listed here which are all intel pentium or amd dual cores .

Anyhow nothing spoil. If you er need a replacement soon enough you know the drill - just hit me up!. Also let your peeps know that I can make them a winner!

I dont have that precise spec on hand.

The one that I have which is pretty close is #32 in my last post.

The differences from your spec are :-

1. It has a 6-cell high capacity battery
while you require the 8-cell high capacity battery
2. it has a 250GB 5400 RPM harddrive
while you require the 320GB 7200 RPM harddrive
3. It does not have the Mircosoft office student edition. As with most new laptops this laptop only comes with only the trial version
4. No TV tuner.
5. No blu ray technology or roxio software.

I can do you a quote for your spec of laptop if you are willing to wait 4 weeks to receive it.
