DeepSight: It will do no harm if it's cancelled, which harm will it do, tell me? So if an armed robber is stealing from your shop, and you decides to call the police as to stop them.. someone will tell you calling the police to stop the robbery will do more harm, then you allow the thief continue stealing? One thing with Nigerians is that when evil is favoring them, it becomes a sweet evil. 1 Like |

SenatePresdo: Believe you me, I have no dog in this race and Bola is someone I deeply despise. There is a history in this country: and the cancelation of collation will certainly raise tensions - it will be a dangerous step. There is a legitimate way to go about addressing grievances and people should take advantage of the established due processes to do so. I am also not sure that the law says that where there are glitches or hitches with the technology, an election must be cancelled. Rather, there are other means to proceed with the collation while such hitches are addressed. You really need to make a very string case for cancellation because its a big deal. |

*OBJ: WHAT MANNER OF STATESMAN?* I, like many of you, also watched the address by former President Obasanjo. How more careless, desperate and utterly irresponsible can an elder statesman be? I don't even know under what guise he's making such a mischievous press briefing. Anyway, I won't dig into the unfortunate address, it's not worthwhile a venture. However, I'm tempted to write a few things about this so called Ebora Owu that has refused to change skin, not even in his old age. This is for the younger folks out there who, perhaps, see him as one of the heroes of our democracy, especially in the 4th Republic. First, this is a man that presided over back to back elections, 2003 and 2007, regarded as worst in Nigeria's history with the latter so bad that even its biggest beneficiary, the late *Umaru Musa Yar'Adua*, on his inauguration, admitted that the election that brought him to power was "flawed". I could recollect former President, *Goodkuck Jonathan*, also expressing how embarrassing it was for him answering questions from foreign journalists and diplomats on that charade of an election whenever he went on foreign assignments. *Yar'Adua* polled a staggering 24m to emerge victorious. Now, try to relate that humongous figure to what's obtainable today among the three major Presidential candidates, you would understand the extent to which figures were cooked under OBJ's watch. *OBJ* is the complete opposite of what he often preaches and he's one Nigerian leader that does a lot of pontificating using mediums as letter writing and media parley at his immorally built Presidential Library at the Hiltop Estate, Abeokuta. The letter writing has particularly increased ever since he obtained his much vaunted Theological doctorate at the National Open University, ostensibly to display his scholarship. He's a man with absolutely no shame and *has a notoriety of taking a long spoon to eat from your bowl just because he once gave you food.'* It is why he's loathed even by those he had 'helped' into power. It doesn't take time before he falls out with them and, of course, a letter from his hilltop mansion must follow suit when that eventually happens. He thinks so much of himself as, perhaps, being the mouthpiece of the people, even as he expects every successive governments to come to either Ota or Abeokuta to take notes directly from him and if you dare stop, it's the beginning of scathy remarks capable of bringing down governments. *Olusegun Obasanjo's* relevance in Nigeria of today is dwindling and his relevance, almost inconsequential. Very few, these days, take him very seriously. Even in his home state, Ogun, he's such a divisive figure many would normally try to avoid like a plague. It's not surprising that in many elections held around his vicinity, he usually loses his ward. Yet, he craves all attention to suggest he's the real deal when it comes to endorsing candidates. He did one recently, just like he did with PMB in 2015. He does things for pecuniary interests most times and the moment the tap is closed or his influence tamed, he revolts by finding means of discrediting the government of the day. He's obsessed to ensuring no one comes close to him in relevance and influence, hence, you only mean something to him if he finds you lower in pedigree, status, or as a manipulative tool in his hands. Anything short of this, you are not welcome! *Ask Awolowo, MKO, the Kuti family, Wole Soyinka. You can add Tinubu to the list if you like, it sure adds up.* I honestly don't know what his legacies are in modern Nigerian history, but I know such legacies, if any, won't make him greater than he's supposed to be and may be, still way below some of his eternal adversaries. *©️Olufemi Kushimo* |

This Obasanjo is the greatest hypocrite in the world. Under him, some of the most terribly laughable elections were conducted. It was during his time that figures were magically pulled out of thin air. In fact, it was so terrible that Yar'Adua had to come out in 2007 to confess to the irregularities that brought him into power. Buhari was rigged out of the 2007 election. And this old wicked man still has the temerity to appeal to the same Buhari whose mandate he denied in 2007 with that sham of an election. |

DeepSight: When the Judiciary is heavily compromised, even up to the supreme Court? If they can bypass electoral process, what is mere Judiciary process that they cannot manipulate? There is already a heavy tension currently, cancelling or withholding the fraudulent election is the only thing that can quench it. If INEC announces Tinubu as winner, Nigeria will go into tumoroil. My major question to you is, if they cancel it what will happen? |

SenatePresdo: Let us first be clear: what are you advocating - 1. A wholesale cancellation of the entire election OR 2. A cancellation of the election only in those places where there were clear irregularities, violence, ballot snatching, etc. Secondly, is it your position that - 1. The election should be cancelled because of the imperfect deployment of BVAS and IREV IREV OR - 2. Is it not more reasonable that uploads should be completed, however late, and then comparisons are made between what is uploaded and what was declared - as INEC has said will be done upon review based on complaints? Finally - Take into consideration that ALL the results being announced are signed by all party agents. |

DeepSight: Cancellation of the entire result, or declare it inconclusive. Anything short of uploading results to INEC portal from the polling Units is a sham. INEC deliberately shut down their portal, as to enable them to rig. Their whole system is fraudulent and should never be allowed to stand |

BeardedmeatR: You're hilarious. I don't have any particular interest in any particular candidate. But hey, listen: Labour Party is on twitter begging their party agents to send in their copies of their results. Meaning, your people don't even have the basic evidence they're relying on in the first place. You'll be laughed out of court and exposed as unprepared to Nigerians. So, good luck. |
