A syndicate said to have participated in altering the results of the 2023 presidential elections currently ongoing has been arrested in Maitama Abuja.

They were arrested in possession of the BVAS and other INEC electoral materials.

This is a developing story.

Police denies reports of arrests of BVAS syndicate in Abuja, says persons found with the machines have been identified as INEC engineers.
However, in a statement released, the spokesperson of the police force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the Force ‘’wishes to debunk, in strong terms, the trending news in the media confirming the arrest of some individuals in Maitama, Abuja, with electoral materials and some Bi-Modal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) machines, by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.''
Adejobi said operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB), acting on a tip from residents of an area in Maitama who reported suspicious activities, visited the location, interviewed the occupants, and conducted a search on the house.
‘’In the course of the search, some electoral materials and BVAS machines were discovered in their possession. However, the Independent National Electoral Commission, when contacted, confirmed that the occupants of the house are staff of Emperor Technology, outsourcing engineering services to the INEC, and they were immediately released to go about their lawful business.

The Force, while urging well-meaning members of the public to discountenance the false and misconstrued narrative being spread by some sections of the media about the arrest of these individuals and their link with BVAS manipulation, charged reporters and media houses to endeavor to do due diligence and ascertain the veracity of the information on the public space before spreading such to avoid being victims of the “breaking news syndrome” Adejobi said.

The police urged all and sundry to avoid the creation and spread of misinformation and disinformation which is capable of causing disaffection between the populace and state actors more so as we are at a critical and sensitive moment in our democracy.

Where LP won is free and fair, even where they chased others away who wanted to vote other political parties! But any other party rigged.
I won't be surprised anyway if PDP or LP is mentioned as suspects in this.

This is the problem with you guys. You lie a lot and many gullible and semi-literate people swallow your lies as evidenced by the number of likes you got on this false post. You don't win elections by propaganda and posting fake results on social media like the ones showing Bauchi and Gombe with same results, LP getting 0 vote in Obot Akara LGA in Akwa Ibom and the votes of PDP and APC in 2019 and 2023 being the same at Buhari's polling unit. Lies which have all been busted. To start with, if you can show me where Tinubu got just 46% of the votes in Rivers, not even the nonsense figure 80% you're claiming here, I'll give you 1 million.

Scene 1: INEC contracted an Asian IT firm to supply BVAS and build a data aggregator website etc.

Scene 2: APC tracked the company to their country and hired them to create a similar website, Civichive.

Scene 3: APC strategically outlined the States it needs to win to secure victory.

Scene 4: The APC team was given a marching order with billions to compromise INEC Returning Officers of these States, including its governors.

Scene 5: On February 18, APC simulated the results of the elections based on the States it needs to win.

Scene 6: On February 20, APC uploaded the results on its secret website, Civichive and it went live on the 25th.

Scene 7: On the election day, INEC website was taken offline by the same firm INEC hired.

Scene 8: INEC contacted the IT firm to bring its website online, and they sat on it.

Scene 9: Even though, INEC's website was offline, Civichive started displaying election results in real-time.

Scene 10: The IT firm INEC hired brought the website back online having created API and integrated it with Civichive.

Scene 11: Every result accessed via INEC's website was supplied via a backdoor from Civichive.

Scene 12: It took time for the uncompromised INEC Officials to notice this and they switched ro manual collation.
....................
The damage has already been done, but there is a way out.

1. Labour Party should set up a Tech Team ASAP. It is good that APC used tech trying to rig the election - the digital footprints are everywhere. This is like someone stealing money from your bank account thinking they have succeeded without knowing the digital trail will lead to them.

2. Labour Party Agents across the States it needs to win to secure victory must submit Forms EC8A & EC8B immediately. These forms must be secured in the cloud.

3. INEC chairman must not be allowed to announce the winner of the election, until Nigerians are told how and where Civichive got its election data in real-time while INEC website was offline., On the arrest of Rhode hackers, the information is, that house at maitama belongs to Femi Gbajabiamila
calm down,it's too early to start cooking up theories.

Nonsense conjecture. This is already stale. You can do better. On your last point,INEC Chairman has announced Tinubu already as President-elect and INEC has affirmed that the guys caught with BVAS machines are engineers working lawfully for them and they've been released. Talk another thing. The earlier you come to terms with a Tinubu Presidency the better.

Their sponsor is Tinubu. Simple and short. That man must be taught a lesson in thus life and the next one. He is a terrible human being who doesn't repect his fellow human. His ambition is more important than the collective will of over 200milion Nigerians.

We must make sure never to allow anybody like Tinubu near power. Anybody who ruled a state over 20 years ago and still controls that state is a demon and a murderer. Such a person shouldn't be allowed t get near Fededal policies.

I am sure that in the end Tinubu will be disgraced on national TV and will be a fitting end to a wicked, dangerous human being.

Let's see how gubernatorial election will playout!. APC vs labor Party vs PDP.

I see no reason why the next election should take place, when they don't trust the credibility of INEC.

Seems they are loosing the battle already.
