I already analyzed this before the elections even started:
- Edo State: Oshiomole is a force in the north of the state, plus that side has a significant muslim population;
- Akwa Ibom State: Akpabio is loved among the Annang people, and delvered that side
- Benue State: The most loved politician in Benue is Father Alia of the APC who is running for Governor; it also didn't help that PDP was fractured between Ayu, Ortom, and Obi;
- Delta State: Ibori quietly left the PDP a few weeks back over disagreements with Okowa, and Omo-Agege's popularity has been spiking due to significant dislike for Okowa. A lot of Deltans I know were going to vote LP for presidency, and APC for governorship.

Is possible. I have worked as a unit chairman of the defunct ACN. And some of the challenges I have is some of my agents not registered in a particular polling unit. And since that polling unit has to be manned, we are left with no option than to send someone who didn't register in that polling unit to man it.

Second scenerio, since Peter Obi is gunning for president, the agents of the opposition parties may come together and agree to support him. I could recall how PDP bigwigs in my area appealed to stakeholders of my party for us to stand down for Jonathan to get 100 percent votes in my community during the 2011 election.

We have discussed your point two countless times. I find it surprising for PDP to leave ijaw to their fate given how much Ijaw votes had helped them...but they still won in ijaw areas.

The election this time around was keenly contested so much Lagos lost to opposition for the first time since '99.

Delta that has always been a Pdp fort was also balkanized by opposition.

Opposition has won Lagos in the presidential election several times. It's only in the governorship election they've never lost.

Obasanjo in 2003, Yaradua in 2007, Jonathan in 2011 all PDP won Lagos State in the presidential election.

May be LP also rigged out Enugu State Governor from his Senate's Ambition . LP rigged in South East with which structure? LP that did not have even common LGA Counsellor. I don't think it was just about turn out alone, I believe we outnumber the ijaw and itsekiri people in that zone. Even majority of the newly registered voters were from the isoko area. I found it surprising that both isoko lgas produced more votes than all other lga in the senatorial district combined with the exclusion of warri south because of it's nature as a cosmopolitan and multi tribal demography
With that being said I don't know how the Apc guy won the zone if he was loosing his home base/isoko area albeit marginally or did he win convincingly in warri south because I can't get my hands on the senatorial results by lga

Questionable figures was what gave others edge over the Isokos in the past. The BVAS was a blessing in disguise. It unveiled lots of things.

We previously had this conversation about the Isoko population. Even till date, they still haven't harnessed their potentials because they couldn't give Onowakpo the bloc votes he needed. They were still splitting votes within themselves, that was why the margin he used to beat Ejele in the two Isoko LGAs wasn't high.

Also, from the few LGAs released, the votes from Itsekiri and Ijaw strongholds were just too low and could easily be cancelled by Urhobo votes in Warri South.
