My dad told me same. If you go to edo state, you'd see the way their Kings apparels look like, very similar to those worn by obas in Lagos. Eko is an edo language. Iga( iga iduganran for example) is an edo word. People should grab the history of lagos and read from pali to pali. Lagos obas used to be taken to Benin for burial after their death. Oshodi is edo language. Its actually Oshodin. People bear this name in Edo. It's a popular ne. Agege, apapa, etc. Oba Akiolu sef confirmed this. However, that doesn't make Lagos an edo land.
