I never thought it will be the North that will vote massively for Tinubu, all I ever wanted was a southern president either Tinubu or Obi, but obidents in there immaturity turned most potential voters of Obi away because of online bullying. Thank God say he no be man....my sincere prayer goes to Tinubu that God should help him to take Nigeria to the promised land. Amen.

[Yakubu is a lecturer, guerrilla warfare expert, and Professor of Political History and International Studies at the Nigerian Defence Academy.[9] Prior to his appointment as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood served as the executive secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, being appointed to office in 2007 by then-President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.[10][11] During his tenure as secretary, a National Book Development Fund was established, supporting 102 journals of professional associations.[3]

Yakubu also served as Assistant Secretary of Finance and Administration at the 2014 National Conference.[12] In 2013, he was awarded an honorary fellowship to the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.[13]

On 7 January 2019, he released a new voting system for the 2019 general election with the introduction of the card reader which helped to minimize electoral fraud. Mahmood Yakubu was born in Bauchi State, Northern Nigeria. He completed his basic and secondary school education at Kobi Primary School and Government Teachers College, Toro, respectively.[3][4] He proceeded to the University of Sokoto (now Usmanu Danfodiyo University), where he became the first and, to date, only Nigerian from the North to obtain a first-class degree certificate in history.[5] At postgraduate level, he studied international relations at Wolfson College, Cambridge,[6] graduating with master's degree in 1987,[7] and Nigerian history at the University of Oxford, graduating with a doctorate in 1991.[3] The Bauchi State Government offered him a scholarship to study at both the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford.[8] He went on to become a three-time recipient of the Overseas Research Scholarship, and also won the Commonwealth Scholarship from the Association of Commonwealth Universities.[3]

Hmnn! IPOBians are indeed lowlifes! They’ve gone to edit the man’s wikipedia profile just because he refused to rig for their IPOB candidate Peter Obi.

These same people celebrated Maurice Iwu- the father of all rigging, because he’s their brother!

Anyway, Nigerians are now used to your style - commit offences and turn round to play the victim!

There was massive rigging in the SE in these elections and the elections should have been cancelled across Igboland in general.

For example, you had most Polling Unit Presiding Officers in Anambra filling all the results sheets and also writing party agents name while also signing for all of them. Imagine!

One of their people was even advertising herself beforehand and she presided over the polls in her unit.

Wikipedia pages can be edited by anyone so Nigerians who don’t know that fact should know and IGNORE the forever bitter and hate-filled IPOBians…

My Muslim wife has been distraught since the results were announced. Are you saying she would have rigged out an Obi she loved and voted for if she was INEC chairman?
