While Yoruba in Lagos voted for Obi with the intention of trying something new for a better Nigeria, the intention of Igbos is different. Their intention is just to grab power. Igbos doesn't care about good governance. They don't understand what it means. They've never experienced good governance in SE all their lives, right from the days on Nnamdi Azikwe..

What they're doing today is synonymous to what Nnamdi Azikwe tried to do back in the days, during the era of regionalism. Because SE wasn't a productive and viable region, Nnamdi Azikwe, as an Igbo man with ego, felt it would be a shame to rule a region like this with his knowledge. He then came to Awolowo. He told Awo he wanted to become the Premier of western region..

Majority of Nigeria officials busted into laughter & were surprised. Why would you abandon your region and wanted to lord over another region? Awolowo asked him why he wanted to lord over the west? He told Awo that the west is a viable region and he only wanted to add to the development, with his viable knowledge.. ( The werey Dey disguise)

Awolowo told him he appreciates his sportsmanship, but he should go use his viable knowledge to rule is region.. Now ask your self. Why didn’t Nnamdi Azikwe go to the north to tell them he wanted to become the northern premier? The Ans is very simple! It because he knew the northerners would not only reject, they might even beat him comot north. But he’s knows the west is tolerative!

The greatest thing yoruba can do for themselves is to clearly show the Igbos that when it comes to their local politics, they have no say. They don’t vote in their region based on competency... Just take a look at the kind of guy they’re proposing for Lagosians to vote for as a Governor! A whole lagos! It’s a big insult!
