Thomas exclaimed in surprise that Jesus had indeed risen from the dead, because he didn't initially believed Jesus resurrected verses 23-29.

Clearly he was surprised to see Jesus Christ that does not make him mistake Jesus Christ for his God. He recognized his God. You don't need to guess just believe the bible.

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was a demigod.
And Isaiah 9.6 should read, the mighty demigod.
You religion is a foolish bend of Greek mythology and a little bit of the bible.
Do you realize that demigods are used in Greek mythology not in Christianity?

You claim to be Jehovah witnesses but clearly you have no idea who Jehovah is. Jesus Christ told the Jews that he is Lord of the Sabbath yet you still don't know that he is Jehovah.
He told them that he is I Am yet you argue. He is the very God of Israel. That is why David called him 'My Lord'. He is the Lord God of the old testament not his Father. He said, I came to my own by my own knew me not. Israel was his own. He was their God.

Isaiah said the child will be called "mighty God" wisdom should tell you that there is another called "Almighty God" Psalms 83:18; 110:1

Your dictionary should help you out here but quoting the Bible without reasonable meaning leaves your listener in confusion that's why none of the churches around have active members to preach zealously and industriously teach like JWs as Jesus commanded his disciples to do! Matthew 28:19-20; Act 1:8

Your reason for calling Jesus Christ a demigod is because he prayed to his father. My reason for calling him God is because the bible called him God. Isaiah called him the mighty God and John told us he is the word and the word was God. Even the Apostle Thomas declared Jesus Christ is Lord and God.
